Support

We've designed VanaMini to be an easy to use application. That said, sometimes people need a little help with what we would consider to be easy to use.

In this section, you will find help with common issues, and a guide to all the application settings and features.

Many of these pages can be accessed while using VanaMini by going to the Help section.

Time Adjustment

VanaMini does all it's calculations based on time. Specifically, your device time. So if your iPhone or iPod touch's system time is off, VanaMini's time will be off as well.

Fortunatly, we figured this out early on.

VanaMini has a built in time adjustment tool. By tapping any Vana'diel clock (time), you will be presented with the time editor interface. You can use this to adjust either up or down the current Vana'diel time.

For best results you may want to watch the in-game clock and try and match the time as best as possible.

VanaMini will remember this time adjustment value for the next time you launch it. So there should be no need to edit it constantly.

We find that iPhones, due to the fact that they genrally pull correct time from your cellular carrier, have more accurate time, and do not need to be adjusted as much. iPod touches however, don't. So they might need a little bit of help.

Resetting

This feature will be reset to default using the Reset All option in the VanaMini pane in the Settings App on your device home screen.

Character Name

VanaMini uses your in-game character name to generate the Strange Apparatus codes. The first time you tap on the Apparatus feature, you will be asked to enter your name. Should you have entered it wrong, or want to change it for whatever reason, simply tap Edit in the top right of the Apparatus view and the name editor will reappear.

Resetting

This feature will be reset to default using the Reset All option in the VanaMini pane in the Settings App on your device home screen.

Character Race

VanaMini can be configured to display RSE values for your specific character race. This can be done by tapping Edit at the top right of the RSE view.

From the editor window, you can use the selection at the bottom to specify your character race. You also have the option to either disable or enable the tab bar notification for when your race's RSE is currently available.

Resetting

This feature will be reset to default using the Reset All option in the VanaMini pane in the Settings App on your device home screen.

Tab Arrangement

VanaMini allows you to customize the tabs to your liking. By simply tapping the More tab, then tapping Edit at the top right, you will be presented with the tab editor (just like in the iPod application). You can drag any icons you want to the bottom tab bar. To replace any of the default 4 icons, simply drag which ever icon you would rather have to it, and it will swap.

After arranging the features, any icons that you removed from the tab bar at the bottom can be found under the More button.
